Every summer we take a trip like this one. Big Sur is one of our favorite places to visit, so we headed out on our bikes for a 3-day, 2-night camping excursion in the best part of the west coast. (2022)
Everything I have has either been used or discounted. Check out places like REI Used Gear and Mercari for some good stuff at reasonable prices.
Here’s a list of what I packed broken down into 5 categories:
30L BACKPACK
Everything fit comfortably in my 30L pack from Osprey. I also have two saddle bags for extra stuff (aka snacks haha) and am strapping my blanket onto the outside of my pack with a cargo net.
EXTRA CLOTHES

- Tampons (cause it’s gonna be that time)

- Pee funnel for my ladies who gotta go but don’t want to leave the comfort of the tent relief is here!!

- Couple of things to note: I can’t find my blow up pillow so I’m rolling up my jacket instead and my boyfriend is bringing the tent but those are things you might want!
